Absolutely..I remember reading a quote, which is something to the effect that A person leans on statistics like a drunk leaning on a lamp post and something-good-about-statitics-that-I-forgot. As any Indian cricket player would vouch for, statistics can be used in any number of ways.
@Nachiketas: Yeah...Indian cricketers..would sure vouch for it. Remeber a famous Siddhuism on statistics, "Statistics is like a Bikini, what it reveals is not essential!!"
