"The Crowning Glory- "TAJ MAHAL" made from Sand !!" Posted by Hello

Houston International Festival

Since past two weeks "The Houston International Festival" was the talk of the town, especially among Indians. Well, India was the theme country this time. A special "Incredible India Zone" was set up amidst gigantic buildings of downtown. Innumerable tents adorned the venue and depicted India in its true colors in many ways viz Food, Music, Art, Spiritualism, Vegetarianism, and Dance performance. A phantasmagoric sand Taj Mahal was the crowing glory of Ifest. Saree-for-a-day dressed up people in sarees. Americans went gaga over it. The 'bollywood and classical' performances were mezmerizing. Food was simply delicious. People came to enjoy from all over houston. It was a wonderful experience being there. Enjoyed it Dil Se !! Cheerios
